Management of Personal Data.

In all cases, StarDust Testing only collects personal information about users solely for the needs of certain services offered by the website Users provides this information with full knowledge of this, notably when they enter the information themselves. It is specified to the users of the website whether they are obligated to provide this information or not.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 38 and following of the law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relative to data processing, files, and freedoms, all users have a right of access, rectification, and opposition of their personal data by submitting a written and signed request accompanied by a copy of their ID with the signature of the holder of the document, specifying the address to which the response must be sent.

No personal information of users of the website is published without the knowledge of the user, or exchanged, transferred, assigned, or sold to any third parties. Only the assumption of redemption of StarDust Testing and their rights would allow the transmission of such information to the prospective purchasers who would, in turn, be given the same obligation to store and modify data with respect to the rights of the users of the website

The databases are protected by the provisions of the law of July 1, 1998, transposing the directive 96/9 of March 11, 1996 relative to the legal protection of databases.

  • Objective

The collection of data given on our website aims to constitute a management file of prospects and customers of our company. Our file is used an optimized for statistical purposes, to contact and offer our content to people who want it.

All of our forms are either for a contact request or a request for resources (such as our white papers, webinar presentations…)

  • Relevance of the Data

In order to best respond to the interest of the prospects and customers of StarDust Testing, the file collects all information of the visitors of the website relative to the identity, professional information, and their activity on the website In accordance with the data protection act, the information relating to racial or ethnic origin, political, philosophical, or religious opinions, trade union membership, health or sexual life of a person is not collected and is prohibited (sensitive data).

  • Lawfulness of the treatment and conditions of consent (art.6 and art.7 of the GDPR)

The consent of processing personal data of a visitor is systematically obtained for one or more specific purposes. For example, in the instance of visitors entering information in a form to register for a newsletter or download a resource, the purpose of obtaining their email address is to send them a notification about new publications or to suggest resources likely to interest them.

  • Conservation of Data

The data collected on the website are kept for a maximum of 12 months after the last activity on the website by the person for anonymous contacts. On the other hand, for identified contacts that have not responded to any request of StarDust, the data collected on the website are conserved for a maximum duration of 36 months. At the end of this period, all data related to this person is automatically deleted.

  • Rights of People (art.16 to 20 of GDPR)

In accordance to the data protection act and the GDPR, all persons can exercise their right of access, rectification, opposition, limitation of use, deletion, and portability of their concerning data by making a request either by mail, signed with a copy of their ID to the address of the headquarters of StarDust Testing, or by filling out the form at this address:

  • Data Security and Processing (art.32 of GDPR)

The data collected on the website and through our partners and related processing are hosted by Hubspot, Inc.. Only people linked to the technical, marketing, and sales department of StarDust Testing, and its referencing providers, have access to the information collected on the website, via a personal identifier unique to the Hubspot platform.

  • Data breach and communication within 72 hours (art.33 and art.34 of GDPR)

In case of violation or the suspicion of a personal data breach, StarDust Testing and its subcontractors will notify the CNIL, 72 hours at the latest, after having read it.
